Untitled[edit]

She was also in the 1964 Sounds and Silences episode of the Twilight Zone.

Which is what made me look it up, knew I knew the name and the voice really rang a bell .... Jane Jetson's voice, though have seen some of the Blondie stuff too.

Interesting thing about, the 23+ years later NEW Jetsons syndication... still had all the original voices Penny at 77+ and Mel Blanc shortly before he passed away. Also produced by Joseph Barbera's wife, as maybe he had passed away or no longer capable. Ahead of its time in the 60's only lasted a year, but in the space age 80's made it three more bringing it to almost 90 episodes from 24 and something common place but then never thought of in the 60 there was video recording and some aspects not possible even then but are now.

Republican[edit]

There had been some revisions along the way in this article pertaining to Singleton's political affiliation. Through my research I have found that not only was Singleton a Republican, she was a charter member of the Hollywood Republican Committee and actively campaigned for Republican candidates (see article). She was not a "lifelong Democrat," as the article had formerly stated. The source cited for that previous claim was Motion Picture and Television magazine, November 1952, page 33. I have a copy of that issue and there is no such statement. In fact, page 33 is a photo page in an entirely apolitical spread about actress Debra Paget. The citation also credits the magazine's publishers as Ideal Publishers, but Motion Picture and Television was published by Fawcett Publications.

The contributor of the erroneous information was I'm Listening to 80s Music, who has since retired. I have noticed this and similar citations within other articles about celebrities of the era.
