Nationality[edit]

While I agree that Carter's primary nationality is British (she even received a version of Captain Britain's shield in What If...?, doesn't she become an American citizen after World War 2? In the original timeline, in Captain America: Winter Soldier, he visits her in a New York hospital, and in the new timeline, he goes back to live with her in America, no? I'm fine with leaving her nationality as British but isn't there at least some room for nuance? RobotGoggles (talk) 00:31, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's original research I'm afraid. Fyi, being from one country but living in another doesn't necessarily make you a dual national, like Shang-Chi. I can't find any reliable sources that call Peggy British American either. IronManCap (talk) 00:42, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Now, hold on. In [edit] you state that the source is the original work. But, I also cited the original work. I cited both Captain America: Winter Soldier and Avengers: Endgame, both films, in the text, show her living in America post-WW2. While using the original work as source is not a good idea, the original work clearly and unambiguously shows the character as British, whereas you just concluded she had American citizenship because she went on to live in America, which is WP:OR and not always the case. —El Millo (talk) 01:23, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What If...?[edit]

Currently there is an edit war going on and I don't understand why. Before I touched this article, the events of What If...? were in a subheader under Fictional character biography. Why change it to a header? I didn't change that, it was already there. And besides, there are MULTIPLE versions of Peggy Carter, unlike T'Challa, we have the original timeline version, version after Steve Rogers travelled back in time, and now the What If...? version. What If...? is the far simpler, more concise, more understandable subheader than simply "Captain Carter". Plus, there will be more additions to articles like this, so we need to establish a Manual of Style. The logical choice is to name the subsection after the series they are based on. Second infobox post-Multiverse of Madness[edit]

Hi,

Wanted to get the consensus regarding whether or not we believe it might be beneficial to create a separate infobox for Captain Carter after Multiverse of Madness is released in a few days. Considering this alt. version of the character will have made two appearances now (possibly two different versions, we obviously don't know yet), I believe it would help keep the information separate and more clear.
