Fair use rationale for Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg[edit]

Image:Pyat rublei 1997.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. paypoint.net[edit]

Hi there,

I work for an agency and I was looking to create an profile page about one of my client's business.

Paypoint plc which owns paypoint.net (the business in question) currently has a profile page, so I was looking to add a paragraph about companies owned by Paypoint plc and from there add a link to a paypoint.net profile page.

Is this the best way to do it? If not what would you recommend?

Dina you have two options: the first as you suggest is to add a short section listing PayPoint's notable businesses and subsidiaries, mention paypoint.net there and then link to a newly created article about paypoint.net, or second, add a short section to the current article about paypoint.net. I would suggest the latter because, unless paypoint.net is notable in its own right (does it meet the requirements of WP:N?), the article will probably be deleted sooner or later. Remember to adopt a neutral tone and avoid hyperbole and other, if you will forgive the expression, "PR-speak" - because you have a significant conflict of interest, your edits will be heavily scrutinised. Worldwide view tag[edit]

Tagged for worldwide view. Although this is a British company, a company profile should ideally be understandable globally, and there are some minor issues with some of the services provided: specifically, prepaid energy meters. Outside the UK prepaid energy (gas/electricity) meters are almost unheard of and the concept requires further explanation. All I know is that "some" people once had coin-op meters and now use prepaid ones. It is difficult to describe that group: are they people with low incomes? Poor credit? Or are prepaid meters simply common in some neighbourhoods?

What would be useful is a brief description--it can be a sentence or two--describing how some UK energy customers prepay for services rather than getting a postpaid bill. It should include, if possible, a generalization of who those people are, and more importantly, a percentage of customers who prepay as of ca. 1998 and today. As this was what got PayPoint off the ground, so to speak, I feel the company history would be more complete if the information were present. Roches (talk) 21:08, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have drafted something and included it in the article: on your first point, the meters are to reduce energy consumption and to help people with limited means.
