"Pauz"[edit]

pauz is a term used in conversation to stop a person from speaking, or place a conversation on hold. Pronounced (p-auz) as in the HBO TELEVISION series "OZ" or "Wizard of" with a "P" in front of it, "Why don't you pauz for a second."

I've never heard of this use before. Can anybody give a few references? æle  2006-04-03t21:16z
