Why isn't there any mention of what he was doing during WWII? He was of prime age for combat and troop service? At least what he was doing should be known to readers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.0.203.190 (talk) 21:36, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

Has everyone forgotten the song "BELOVED" from the Student Prince - words by Paul Francis Webster and music by Nicholas Brodszky. Its a gem. It needs resurrecting by someone - maybe me! Len Smith.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.188.111.78 (talk) 21:19, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder why Paul Francis Webster is not credited as being the lyricist for the song "The Green Leaves of Summer".

He is thus credited all over the internet including in the IMDB pages for the 1960 John Wayne film "The Alamo" - shown as being nominated for an Academy Award Oscar in 1961, for best original song.

I can't find this song anywhere on Webster's Wikipedia page/s nor anyplace else on Wikepedia. This must be an oversight? Danksparks (talk) 15:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

The 18 March date is supported by various online refs. But there are many others that say it happened on 22 March, e.g. [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. Can anyone shed light on the true date? -- JackofOz (talk) 00:10, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lyrics he wrote[edit]

I just spent a couple of hours tracking down songs for which he wrote lyrics, and adding Wikilinks where appropriate. When a song is from a film but doesn't have its own article, I linked it to the film. Almost always the song is mentioned in the article about the film.

What a prolific genius this man was. Like many people, I had never heard of him before I got to this article. Lou Sander (talk) 16:21, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
