Moves[edit]

I would like to move the article to "Parmelia (1825 ship)" to situate her in time and to confirm with best practice in naming ships. I would also like to move the list of passengers to a List article. Given that she also made nine voyages carrying many hundreds of convicts to Australia, keeping all the settlers in this article clutters it up. Any comments?Acad Ronin (talk) 03:18, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Acad Ronin, you appreciate that the voyage to Swan River was to create the colony, not just another list passengers (willing or not). The complete list may be notable, however, as these passengers were travelling first class the list is a good deal shorter than the 200 underclass passengers that were stacked in there. That voyage is more than some details gleaned from a shipping register, and aligning the title to 'best practice' for probably unremarkable vessels seems unnecessary; how does it improve the arrangements for this article? cygnis insignis 06:03, 14 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Acad Ronin, looks like there is some improvements, by the the way, kudos. The article is flagged as needing inline citations: I probably have a dead-tree reference for content related to the colony, ping me or leave a cn tag if that is helpful. cygnis insignis 03:10, 18 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
