Jeff G.: Paramotor and Powered Paragliding are distinctly separate in the same way that "Surfboard" and "Surfing" are separate and warrant their own entries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffgoin (talkcontribs) 09:55, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Paramotor" is a very specific device, even more than "ultralight" or "airplane" is a device that is worthy of its own entry. "Powered Paragliding" is the activity. Even if you call it "paramotoring" the more important component is the paraglider. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffgoin (talkcontribs) 09:49, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Paramotoring, powered paragliding and PPG are all considered the same sport so only one site needs to be maintained.

Jeff G.: The entry should remain but material added to the article should be moved/merged to powered paragliding. Paramotor is the craft, powered paragliding is the sport.

Al C: The Paramotor is a product manufactured by PARAMOTORS, INC -- a military specification powered paraglider. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.246.158.0 (talk) 19:23, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone have any information on the"Para-Motor-Snowmobile" used in the Bond film The World is Not Enough? - F.Caswell (talk) 01:06, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Johan V.: I do not agree with Jeff. In essence indeed paramotor refers to the craft, but the whole world - except the US- has adopted PARAMOTOR as the name of the sport. We need to accept the choice of the majority. France, where the sport originated, also uses the word "Paramoteur" (=paramotor) as sport discipline description. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vercrj (talkcontribs) 08:33, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jeff G.: The whole world calls a parachute a parachute, too, and yet parachuting and parachute get two entries. There's a reason for that, each is an encyclopedic type entry. This is the ENGLISH version of wikipedia, not the French therefore my suggestions apply to those interested in the English version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffgoin (talkcontribs) 20:23, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I feel like there should be a photo showing the whole apparatus, including the canopy/wing.184.63.71.47 (talk) 17:24, 27 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
