African-American?[edit]

Looking at her face, she looks African-American to me. She bears a resemblance to the black actress who played the first Oracle on "The Matrix" and "The Matrix Reloaded", Gloria Foster. Can anyone confirm this? 93.219.128.116 (talk) 09:03, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

She was born in Brooklyn in 1924. Between that, her name, and her appearance, I'm inclined to think she's of Irish & Italian ancestry. - Boneyard90 (talk) 00:42, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date and age at death[edit]

Does anyone know the source of December 28, 1924, as Duncan's date of birth? Her Associated Press obituary, printed in the Boston Globe, doesn't tell when she was born but gives her age at death as 73. I changed the age at death in the text of the article from 80 to 73, preferring to go with a cited newspaper source. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:20, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
