No relevant source cited. The patent cited (US 6,734,250) covers conductive silicone rubber with metal filler, not PTC rubber with carbon nanoparticle filler! 129.170.59.76 (talk) 16:32, 19 September 2018 (UTC) zdenek[reply]

I agree. At first I noticed pat. 8,367,986 in the earlier version of the article and wondered why there is no cross-references in them. Then I realized 6,734,250 is not the correct patent for this at all. Maybe Liljewalch who introduced the 6,734,250 reference was looking for a patent for an actual rubber material rather than a whole heater device that 8,367,986 is for. --Misiu mp (talk) 12:44, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notability?[edit]

Anyone who can find secondary sources that PTC rubber plays an important role in at least some real applications, please do so. Presently, the article only cites one source, which is a patent. I tried a web search and also used ProQuest to search trade journals, etc, and didn't find much. Condensinguponitself (talk) 21:09, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
