Ongoing debate[edit]

There is a debate involving the template below. The template is designed to fit on the left to allow all the other gunpowder plotters to keep the standard infoboxes on the right. At present this article does not have an infobox. To avoid an edit war the picture has the standard image rather than the clickable imagemap. Victuallers 11:28, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{Gunpowder plotters}}

I don't think a debate is going on; the temp just doesn't suit this article: even the caption is better customised in this case. I still like the template - it is very clever. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 11:39, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is just a clever vandalism. This painting has nothing to do with the Gunpowder Plot; it is The Tribuna of the Uffizi by Johann Zoffany, and the subject is the north-east section of the Tribuna room in the Uffizi art museum in Florence, Italy. Someone has created a template with a false caption, and posted it in all the articles pertaining to the Gunpowder Plot.--Edgewise (talk) 01:02, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That Zoffany pic was a temporary bug Victuallers (talk) 18:07, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1973[edit]

The narrative seems to have been published in 1973. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.170.187.17 (talk) 15:30, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
