Portrait of Thomas Barker[edit]
First, this portrait has been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons titling it 'Thomas Barker (meteorologist)' when it is apparently a portrait of Sir Thomas Barker, 2nd Bart., of Lyndon Hall 1648-1706/7.
Secondly, the person relevant to the article IS the subject of the painting, i.e. it was Sir Thomas 2nd Bart. who was a member of the Order of Little Bedlam, (see Bryan Waites, 'Sir Thomas Barker and the Order of Little Bedlam', Rutland Local History and Record Society Newsletter No. 1 Pt 10 (April 2010), pp 5-6. read here), and not Thomas Barker the meteorologist. I will therefore change the caption.
Thirdly, the cropped appearance of the image and the shiny surface suggests that the upload has been taken from the article by Bryan Waites cited above. Query therefore if the licence is good. Eebahgum (talk) 10:55, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
