An inconsistency

This article says that Olivia d'Abo is Maryam d'Abo's second cousin. Maryam's article says that they are first cousins once removed. In the case of second cousins, they would be the children of a pair of first cousins. In the case of first cousins once removed, one would be the child of a first cousin of the other. Which is it? -- Noneofyourbusiness 23:36, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure they are first cousins.

Former Scientologist?

D'Abo is categorized as a "former Scientologist", but this has to be referenced and verified. Nowhere is her prior involvement in the CoS mentioned in the article. Alcarillo 15:41, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Adherents.com says she was, but they also say that Candice Bergen and Aldous Huxley were former Scientologists. (I'm skeptical) A few blogs and "www.whyaretheydead.net" say so as well, but I'll remove her pending something more solid.--T. Anthony 16:06, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I've read d'Abo dabbled for a moment in Scientolgy and then bolted, never having formally joined the church. I doubt she got through any of the first "lessons". Can't find a source for that but I found another source that lists her as an ex-Scientologist: [1]

Son's Birth Year

Her son was born in 1996. She was cast in the movie "The Whole Wide World" but had to drop out because she became pregnant. The movie was filmed in the summer of 1996. Hence, her son was born in 1996. Mseames 02:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I retract that. He was born in 1995. :) Source: http://www.familytreelegends.com/records/calbirths?c=search&first=OLIVER&last=D%27ABO&spelling=Exact&4_year=&4_month=0&4_day=0&5=&7=&SubmitSearch.x=0&SubmitSearch.y=0 Mseames (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 22:18, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

American Citizen?

She lives here right, if she does we should state that aswell —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChesterTheWorm (talkcontribs) 03:34, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Simply living here does not make her a US citizen. I think it's safe to assume she is indeed a US citizen having living here since a small child but since she has never spoken of the topic, she is only listed as British due her birth country of England.
Unless there is adequate proof that she is an American citizen, she should be described as British.

British Not English

England does not exist she's a british citizen hence should be listed as british not english

Wrong. Wikipedia's own article on England starts by saying, "England is a country...". It also says England's demonym (word for people from a place) is "English". JJR512 (talk) 04:44, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Citation Needed??

In the article Regarding Olivia in the section "Acting Career", it stated there was a controversy over her being nude in the film 'Bolero" and that a citation is needed to verify that she was fourteen at during filming. Well, the article list her at The Internet Movie Database, where is clearly states that she was born on 22 January 1969, making her 15 at the time of the release of the movie. I can understand the controversy, but not the need for a citation.

We do not have an exact date as to when that particular scene was filmed. Where controversy is involved, it is far better to be cautious. It is not sufficient to simply assume that it was probably filmed before her birthday. it would be better to have confirmation, rather than just assume. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.244.182.7 (talk) 10:48, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps if an exact date of filming for the scene is not available, then the entry should be changed to read something more like, "She was under the age of 18 when the scene was filmed." JJR512 (talk) 04:46, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Another Crossover & Shared Universe Connection!

Please refer to "Group 2" over at a site called, "Crossovers & Spin-Offs Master Page".

I just read the article about "The Single Guy" for research needs and I saw that Olivia starred in that series, albeit briefly. She guest starred in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".

As both series co-exist in the same shared universe thanks to a whole lot of crossovers links, then that means Olivia has played two different characters within the same universe. They would be each others doppelgangers!

Doesn't Wikipedia have an independent list of such crossovers, and how many different characters have been played by the same person, in each shared continuity? If so, then shouldn't Olivia be placed on it if she isn't all ready?

Her album

There is no release date for her album. Then I click source #4, where should be information about the album and at least song list, and I get: You are unable to view our store because your browser is not accepting cookies.

Please set your browser to allow cookies, then return to our store. Thank you.
Even though, I HAVE COOKIES ENABLED, this still happens. A nice one. 82.141.72.152 (talk) 11:50, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

Her album was released several years ago. Check Walmart.com , Sears.com and even Amazon.com for song info. All have the CD for sale.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.229.132.193 (talk) 00:01, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Year, but that citation does not work. 85.217.45.223 (talk) 07:42, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
{{Sofixit}}. See my response below. Magog the Ogre (talk) 08:03, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
Found it, at least Amazon, CDuniverse and Allmusic have it. It was released July 15, 2008. But I will not edit cites, don't wish to start learning that now. Maybe in a few years, but not now. 82.141.66.232 (talk) 07:49, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

According to the website http://www.thepeerage.com/p58877.htm#i588766, her mother is Margaret Evelyn Lyndon (not London). E.Polti (talk) 14:53, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
