Independent production company?[edit]
The intro line says "October Films was a U.S. independent film production company[1] and distributor founded in.." An anonymous editor, User talk:70.75.206.24 reverts the line to "October Films was another production company and distributor founded in 1991 by..." and removes the reference.
A simple reading of the original line shows a reference that October Films is an independent film company. The reversion makes it appear to be "yet" another company formed by the two founders.
What is the anon. editor trying to accomplish or say. Was the company not an independent film production company in 1991? While it may be been acquired by Universal, and then no longer independent, in 1997, it seems the company was from 1991-1997.
