Sister school edits[edit]

For those who are unaware, North Catholic's sister school is Little Flower High School as stated in the Trivia section. During the last couple of months, it has been changed by editors numerous times to Father Judge High School which is an all-boys school (and a traditional rival to North Catholic). I assume this is being done as a joke since Father Judge is an all-boys school and can't exactly be a "sister" school. So for those who notice all of the edits/reverts around this, that's the reason. Fair use rationale for Image:Logo northmainheader.jpg[edit]

Image:Logo northmainheader.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Update[edit]

--Cooly123 (talk) 16:52, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Good information about my allma matter, but is the total students really that low? I know when I graduated that enrollement was increasing. Also there is no mention of the Technology Center which opened in 2003 a believe.[reply]

I placed that teacher Luke Hogan carried the Olympic torch in 2002, I remember this from whem I was a student. Also there is no mention of the North/Frankford turkey bowl game.--Cooly123 23:59, 27 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talkcontribs)

No mention of the pep-rally before the turkey bowl game, where students participate against teachers in various event. The school spirit stick too given to the best class of the rally. Mr. Kosnick (sp?) also kissed a piss one year at the event, I beliebve it was in 2002 or 2003. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talkcontribs) 14:27, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article says "Every year Northeast Catholic hosts the DeSales Oblate Schools Model UN Conference, or better known as OMUN. It is currently in its 41st year and is still run by Father John Hurley OSFS.". 41 years???? I don't think so. I was on the '74 debate team....and recall the first 'local debate' that Hurley ran in the school library was in '74. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.67.104.4 (talk) 14:44, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am adding more information about teacher Luke Hogan, I came accross while reading the Northeast Times May 20 edition. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooly123 (talkcontribs) 20:13, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article implies that no freshmen entered the main building after 1939 until 1955. I entered North's main building as a freshman in September, 1945, along with many others from Ascension, St.Ann's, etc —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.94.76.228 (talk) 01:16, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can we add the offical opening and official closing date of the school?

Last class of freshman to attend classes during their rise.[edit]

I attened North as a "Freshman" in 1946 It was on the main campus, I was in "Freshman 5" No Freshman classes were held at North, for the four years that I attended. I don.t believe any Freshman classes were held on that campus, until 1956. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.160.228.4 (talk) 20:26, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I attended North Catholic as a "Freshman" in 1976. Our lockers were in the basement of the main building. At least 2,000 of us occupied the campus. In my Junior "summer" year, I worked with my Uncle Ray Gonzalez and helped in the renovation of our Balcony at North Catholics Auditorium and converted it into an "AV center" for our school. That's the year the "Jukebox" was missing when I arrived in September as a Senior. Yo! I didn't know. Mr. Koshnik was at his prime and Tom Casey was king of the corridors. The best 4 years of my life was well spent as a Falcon at North. My name is Milton Lopez, class of 1980. V+J to the brotherhood who attended. God be blessed.
