reference to non-classical ions destroyed[edit]

I object to this instance of deletion creep: "The norbornyl cation (C7H11+) is of great scientific interest in relation to non-classical ions" V8rik (talk) 16:50, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The famous nonclassical cation is not derived from norbornane. It is misleading to suggest otherwise, so far as I know.--Smokefoot (talk) 17:21, 4 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
