First starting playing at 13, self-taught until college.
Played in rock bands
Won Jimi Hendrix Award at Berklee. Graduated in 2005.
Moved to NY in 2006. Started playing at Small's jazz club with saxophonist George Garzone
Also played with Terri Lyne Carrington, Jose James, Jack DeJohnette, and Eric Harland
Worked with the New York City Opera.
Plays same original 1995 strat.
- What does he mean by "Tex-Mex"? Just modified pickups or the actual model? Is it a two-color sunburst, Jimmie Vaughan Tex-Mex Stratocaster or not?
Discuss unusual tone of guitar/amp/effects for jazz genre
Golden Age recorded in two days at Sear Sound in 2011.
