They have suspended participation, not withdrawn or cancelled the treaty, they will just no longer allow anyone to inspect their facilities. Smallangryplanet (talk) 12:41, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It does say these two quotes in the third source:
"It is not withdrawing from the treaty, but is suspending its participation,"
"On Tuesday, he also accused the US of "developing new types of nuclear weapons". He warned that if the United States conducts tests of new nuclear weapons, Russia would do the same."
I don't wanna do a modern journalism and accuse them of de facto withdrawing, but these things might be something to make note of in the article itself. DarmaniLink (talk) 12:53, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
People keep changing the infobox to say that it "expired" today, or that the suspension counts as an expiry. I do think that for something this critical and sensitive, it's worth being extremely pedantic about it and clarifying that the treaty has not expired, but Russia has suspended participation. Any thoughts on how best to convey that? Smallangryplanet (talk) 16:05, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To my understanding, is that they will keep to the commitment of not increasing their nuclear arsenal, but they won't allow for the regular inspections.
Sounds sketchy, but, that's not my call to make for everyone else. Maybe it shouldn't be in the infobox, I'm not sure. DarmaniLink (talk) 16:29, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where’s the link to the treaty? There should always be an easy to find link to the original source material.[edit]

There’s no link to the actual treaty, at least it’s not easy to find, I looked. This article is US biased. 2A02:AA13:8106:4E80:A012:1B1C:E992:635A (talk) 14:36, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Give some specific examples of sections bias or anything you wish to dispute and we can work to resolve them.
Just saying "there's a problem" won't let it get fixed, have to know what it is. :)
If anything looks poorly worded or seems biased-ly worded, I'll try to fix it. DarmaniLink (talk) 17:00, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the russian version of the treaty from the kremlin, pulled it off the Russian wikipedia page. Would you like to see this included, alongside the US version in sourcing? If you look at the bottom of the page, you can find the english version.

An English language version is linked here. It wasn't hard to find. NPguy (talk) 18:48, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
