Neutral article[edit]

This article is derived from the Common Intermediate Language article. I thought it would be better to handle NGEN as a separate thing because it is not a part of the standard. It is a .NET Framework utility. I have changed the information in the article of origin to Ahead-of-time to make it neutral to any implementation of the Common Language Infrastructure. Questions about costs[edit]

It's a technique to speed up start of .net programs, but what are the costs?
How big is the effort to find candidates to process and to decide if the origin program was changed?
