Requested move 15 April 2016[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: not moved. Histmerge has been done by another admin. Let me know if you want to follow this up further (i.e. by arguing the footballer is not the primary topic and should be moved) and I'll try and help you out. Jenks24 (talk) 18:04, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Naoki SakaiNaoki Sakai (footballer) – Originally the page as present was meant to be a disambig page but article creator Nameless User crudely reverted the article without explanation that I had not been aware of, leaving the talk page as it is. I also request history merge. Donnie Park (talk) 10:52, 15 April 2016 (UTC) --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 00:07, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Malformed request – Do it on the article talk page, not the redirect talk page, where it looks like a no-move. Are you proposing to make the base name be a disambig page? Or claiming primarytopic for the other guy. Be clear. Dicklyon (talk) 15:04, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Dicklyon the former as intended as my point is the footballer maybe notable in his home country but the designer is notable for his works outside his home country. To explain the edit history, this was meant to be redirected as Naoki Sakai (footballer) whilst Naoki Sakai meant to be a disambig page but the article creator crudely redirected it back leaving parts of the history on either page without explanation, because of this, I cannot revert back to how it should be. File a technical request to undo an undiscussed move, at WP:RM. An admin can patch it up with a history merge. Dicklyon (talk) 15:17, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Dicklyon I hope I done this right. Donnie Park (talk) 15:50, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
