"Transcription termination factor" vs. "thyroid transcription factor"[edit]

Can somebody detail the distinction between the two? HGNC is pretty unclear about that, as it gives 'TTF1' both as an alias to 'NKX2-1' and as meaning 'transcription termination factor, RNA polymerase I' (http://www.genenames.org/cgi-bin/hgnc_search.pl?field=symb_prev_and_alias&andnot=AND&search_type=simple&anchor=equals&sortby=symbol&match=TTF1).
