Cleanup[edit]

Band Director's Name[edit]

For future reference, the band director's name is C. Whit Blount, not Rolly. I believe we called him the same thing back in the dark ages. But yes, we did call him Whit back when he was marching band president.[reply]

As a student at MP, I can confirm that the description of the bathrooms is horrifyingly accurate. You sort of gain a knowledge of where the decent restrooms are when most of the restrooms are nasty. Update on "Coerced Drop Outs" Section[edit]

The Time Magazine article's allegation was that students were forced to drop out of Myers Park because of poor grades. An investigation has been made into the issue, and has found no evidence that this actually happened as stated (see [1]). Robert F. Stern[edit]

I've included Robert F. Stern on the list of notable alumni and provided two sources. Both are third party sources (the FBI and his yearbook). Despite this, my edits were reverted on four separate occasions in a short time period. I am calling on User:John from Idegon to self-revert and discuss the issue so that we can avoid having to seek an administrator to block further edit warring.--TM 00:49, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

All you need do is add a WP:RS WP:SECONDARY source, now, as it was the very first time you re-added it after my intial revert that clearly stated no source for attendance. Allegations of coerced dropouts[edit]

The investigation as stated on the page indicates that there was no evidence of coerced dropouts. This story has not gained media attention and has become irrelevant. I propose the removal of the section 24.40.175.8 (talk) 21:45, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
