2011 Busan International Film Festival[edit]

You guys had wrote "It premiered at the 2011 Busan International Film Festival." In fact, the movie didn't have its premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, just its first press conference which I attended. "Based on a True Story"[edit]

When the opening credits rolled, "Based on a true story" appears.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any other written materials, or the "original documentary" that is referenced on the front page of this Wiki. Either way, I'd like to see this brought up and explored further in this discussion.

I checked the Olympic marathon results for 1948. The highest any Korean finished was in the mid-twenties. "Based on a True Story" is apparently meant in the very widest sense. I think that line refers to the Koreans captured at Normandy and throughout France. There were a pretty good number of them.
