Age[edit]

About the construcion date, the link (in Norwegian) says 1936. But the WP article Nikel says that a railway to Liinahamari a nearby seaport was built about that time. Since the area was Finnish and Murmansk Russian, so it is likely that Murmansk–Nikel was done later, and only the short railway in 1936.
