Untitled[edit]

I (J. Strikwerda) am the author of the document (ftp://pasaja.nl/SMS%20MDO%20Presentation%20US.pdf)which is a summary presentation (not an original document) of my book on the same subject and of which I hold the copyrights. I have placed the pdf-document under the GDFL. I have indicated this on the front and back page of the document. Hope this clears the "conflict".

This article is obviously copied from your presentation (ftp://pasaja.nl/SMS%20MDO%20Presentation%20US.pdf); all material from sources external to Wikipedia is implictly under copyright unless it says otherwise (for example, if your paper ended with "the author relinquishes all copyright claim to this material and places it under the GDFL). You will have to verify that you are indeed Mr.Strikwerda and that Mr.Strikwerda releases any copyright claim to the material. Alternatively, you could rewrite the article here so it is not a copyright violation. Note that Wikipedia does not publish original research, so I hope your concept has been published as a book rather than proposed to be. To be notable, a topic must also receive non-trivial coverage in reliable sources independent of the topic, so you would need to find other scholars who have written about this topic. Please ask if any of this is confusing Regards, скоморохъ 23:44, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The source ftp://pasaja.nl/SMS%20MDO%20Presentation%20US.pdf does release under GDFL. Jeepday (talk) 02:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're a little late to the party, Dr. Strikwerda released it almost a month ago. :) Skomorokh 02:48, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability tag[edit]

KrakatoaKatie, I've removed the notability tag you applied, as I think its notability is clear now, but please revert me or consider AfD if you disagree. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 16:51, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
