Hi.
I'm very sorry to bother you about something that might seem quite trivial: I recently came across an article on Wikipedia, Mountain Jews . Apparently, you had given permission to use your text (http://www.eki.ee/books/redbook/mountain_jews.shtml) (and, indeed, apparently, the whole book) on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the copyright laws that surround wikipedia are necessarily very strict, in order to avoid even the threat of lawsuits. Please see Wikipedia:Copyrights for Wikipedia's policy on content copyrights.
Because Wikipedia licenses _all_ of its text under the GFDL (see http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html), we need explicit permission from you that the text is licensed under the GFDL. I was wondering if you could clarify your position on the copyright status of the text, including whether you give the right to Wikipedia to relicense it under the GFDL. If you do, we will of course continue to cite http://www.eki.ee/books/redbook/mountain_jews.shtml as the primary source, so long as it remains so. Relicensing permission is important because your website states: "no part of this book may be reproduced without explicit permission from the authors (send a letter to the webmaster)."
