Reinyday, Read the McGrath article, particularly p248. The title is fairly recent. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:45, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
On our other not-yet-WP:EW disagreement, I checked a few of Jordaens' other paintings, and museum in lead appears to be customary, though it seems unnecessary to me in this article per WP:LEAD. I'm not ok with moving the Description-refs to the lead, that makes no sense. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:16, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

?[edit]

@Dimadick, your ES [1] doesn't make sense to me. Per article text and source, the painting could be from 1650, correct? That's not 1640:s. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:09, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Then add a second decade, not a useless and vague century category. It renders the estimates worthless and makes the painting hard to locate. Dimadick (talk) 18:18, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Having two decades makes less sense to me, but unless other editors feels like to comment, if it makes you happier. Still don't get "contradicts". Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 20:47, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Description of Moses As "White"[edit]

Inaccurate description given racial categories appeared thousands of years later 2607:9880:19E8:78:A991:F9A1:BEA9:F18D (talk) 14:14, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The description is about Moses in the painting. If you manage to make a WP-article about this picture [2] you can describe Moses as a black man in that picture. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:18, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thousands of years after the 17th century? What are you smoking? Dimadick (talk) 23:14, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
