@Adamant1, Lockley, Ravenswing, Johnpacklambert, and El cid, el campeador: At Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Heritage Park (Morristown, Tennessee), each of you voted to merge Heritage Park (Morristown, Tennessee) into this article. One editor suggested, "A mention at Morristown College would make sense, no need to merge all of the content". WP:MERGETEXT says, "Copy all or some of the content from the source page". My concern is that User:AppalachianCentrist appears to have copied the entire article, plus the infobox and three photos, causing this article to be unbalanced. The input of others would be appreciated. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:36, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Seriously so; I'd slash the section by two-thirds at the least and ace the infobox; this is NOT an article about the park. Ravenswing 23:32, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think Ravenswing's solution is sound. There's zero reason to have the infobox and the rest should really only be a brief mention of what's worth keeping. Which isn't everything. Like Ravenswing say's, this isn't an article about the park and anymore then like 1/3 of what's currently there on it would be seriously unbalancing the article. Plus, it would be completely ridiculous to keep the infobox. --Adamant1 (talk) 00:19, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I went ahead and trimmed a lot of unneeded detail. No prejudice against further removals, including removal of infobox, but just wanted to clear out some information that is clearly not essential. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 12:44, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I got rid of the infobox. Although it's a side thing, a lot of the unreferenced stuff about the college could probably use trimming also. --Adamant1 (talk) 06:46, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
