The "important information" you refer to was already there, and you've now succeeded in duplicating it. I've removed it again.

There still are too many photos. Seven photos, taking up almost as much space as the text, is a perfect example of lack of balance. The idea is not to include as many photos as you can possibly find that happen to show the subject. What, for example, is the photo of her at Shenval (whatever or wherever that is) doing there? All she's doing is standing in a garden, saying cheese. It does absolutely nothing for our understanding of her operatic notability.

Regardless of the fact that you commenced this article, you do not own it and you have no right to make demands or threats. If you disagree with another editor's work on the article, by all means say so and say why, but do not threaten them or you will come off second best. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 02:48, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Adding my support to the points made by JackofOz, first re the threats that no one else should edit the article without the creator's approval (this is completely contrary to Wikipedia's policy on "ownership of articles"). And secondly re the photographs. They distort the article and on many browsers cause huge gaps and formatting problems. If anything, they should be smaller and some of them moved to a gallery section. (See Wikipedia:Gallery tag for the code.) I am also concerned that all these images have been uploaded as "I (Mstroh (talk)) created this work entirely by myself" and released into the public domain. They clearly have not been taken by the uploader. They have been scanned from other sources. A lot of editors mistakenly think that if they scan a photo it is "entirely their own work". But that's not true. The copyright belongs to the photographer, who must be credited, and you cannot release the images without their permission unless they have been dead for at least 70 years. The images will be called into question eventually and are at serious risk of deletion. Voceditenore (talk) 07:13, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Agree with JackofOz. Both about the 'ownership' of the article, the use of threats and the over use of photos. If all photos are completely legal then only one of Tourandot would suffice not three. Oh? And what would you say about Hands off! Touch at your own peril!? Hmm? If that was meant as a joke, intended to be viewed light-heartedly, it was your duty to indicate it as such, by the use of a smiley or whatever. All we have to go on here is written words, with no voice tones, facial expressions or other body language to help us interpret the meaning of the communication. Rather than telling the recipient that their response was somehow inappropriate, have a think about manning up and accept responsibility for initiating this communication in a less than fantastic manner. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 20:31, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
