Talk:Missouri Coalition for the Environment Hello. Missouri Coalition is a non profit that has worked hard to prevent environmental catastrophes during the past 40 years. I have plenty of sources and such. I also have a degree in Journalism. This article will be well written. Please give me time.

Thanks Dani Pizzella

I have a degree in journalism and can write objectively. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Danipizzella (talkcontribs) 20:32, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This information is coming from newspaper articles, law documents and old newsletters. MCE is a 501(c) which means they do not lobby but educate. As I have stated, I have a degree in Journalism and can write objectively. The work I do for the organizations is primarily environmental journalism.

Can someone please tell me how to get this deletion noticed removed?

extremely bad air[edit]

You will probably ignore this as all others have too. But it's all true. There is a nearby residence(2342 Telegraph Rd., Mehlville, MO 63125)) with filters installed in it that "are generally associated with industrial incineration". This is a direct quote from a Deptartment of Natural Resources employee who inspected the premises about three years ago. Why they didn't send detectives and The Health Department instead is beyond me. She also said, "there are several burn areas in the yard that appear to have been recently used". She(DNR) inspected the premises after I had contacted the MO Attorney Generals Office and reported an ongoing smell of burning rubber/plastic as well as wood. Prior to contacting the MO AG, I called local police on at least two occasions. One officer told me "I smell it too. It smells like burning rubber". He contacted the owner and returned, informing me that the owner admitted to having filters installed inside his home, but that he would put it out. He never did and he never has. I only knew where the smell was coming from because his filters had broke down and sputtered a couple of days earlier. Prior to that, I had no idea. A reporter from The Riverfront Times dropped this story at the time it was happening, about three years ago. Telling me that both the police and fire dept. said I have never called them about any fire at any time. BULL!!!! I have called them at least twenty times, mostly about three other individuals who had routine large fires in their yard. It took about a half dozen calls each before they went out. As soon as one stopped, somebody else moved in nearby and picked up where they left off. There are several people on my street who can definitely confirm these fires were sizable, a nuisance, and that I called both the fire dept. and police on numerous occasions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keithmyre (talkcontribs) 13:36, 13 March 2015 (UTC) One last thing, I don't know what the DNR employee put in her report or how her supervisor ignored it and did nothing. The DNR employee seemed jubilant that it was such a nice house and that the owner collects rainwater.(that must be strenuos?). Also, after I had given them the polluters address, the police and another reporter I talked to said,'oh, you mean the castle', and knew who I was talking about. I guess he must donate to the right people. In fact, one reporter told me they did a story on him He does his burning most every night, after the health dept. closes, who I've also contacted. There are lulls in the action and varying levels of intensity. He likes to mask his burning rubber/plastic with what smells like burning pine. But it really smells like pine-scented potpourri. Occasionally, its been similar to raspberry and citrus. Keith Myre 623 Allen Ave, Mehlville, MO 63125 314-892-0350[reply]
