Untitled[edit]

Dilemma: Mike Reid the songwriter and Mike Reid the football player are one in the same. I'm not sure which is more relevant, and I can't find any similar entries to draw from. In all the cases I can think of there is one aspect that outweighs the other in importance.

I have a football bias so I should recuse myself.

Which is the real story here: the gifted athlete who turns his back on a lucrative career in sports to persue music, or the successful songwriter who once really shined on the football field?

I noticed on the Mike Reid disambigution talk page, that you didn't known where Mike Reid, the football player and songwriter, should have an article. I decided on the football portion because I have a feeling people will know him more as a football player than a songwriter. My opinion is biased because I follow football much more than country music. If you, or others, feel the opposite is true, then I have no qualms about it being moved to the appropriate place. Should be titled for both football and music[edit]

I added him under Mike Reid sports on the disambig page. Can someone else make this entry link to his Mike Reid singer article. He was at least as famous in football as music. Sfahey (talk) 04:35, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
