Untrue claim[edit]

The article claims - twice - that Bullock wrote more Phantom stories than any other American writer. Surely this can't be true. The Phantom's creator, Lee Falk, wrote all daily and Sunday strips until his death in 1996. Can somebody please make clear what is meant by this claim? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.172.34.1 (talk) 03:47, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Response: The claim is that Bullock has written more Phantom stories than any other American comic book author, which is true. Lee Falk is the only other American to have written more Phantom stories, but he never wrote comic books. Falk was a playwright and comic strip author. citation: http://www.schapter.org/wiki/Mike_Bullock
