This chemical is a methylated analogue of anandamide with roughly 4* the potentcy as a CB1 agonist (this and more information can be found on the Caymen Chemicals website). It is also considerably more resistant to FAAH than anandamide, making it a much more powerful cannabinoid in practice. Metabolism by this route leads to the formation of arachidonic acid and 1-amino-2-propanol. One study indicates that when injected into rabits, cannabinoid-like effects last for at least 3 hours (I forgot the name of the study- google it if you must know). This is about the extent of information available on this compound. 24.124.54.30 (talk) 03:20, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
