Ορεινό χωριό της Μακεδονίας, κτισμένο στις ανατολικές πλαγιές της Βόρειας Πίνδου σε υψόμετρο 1.080 m. Αποτελεί έδρα της ομώνυμης κοινότητας και διοικητικά υπάγεται στο νομό Γρεβενών και στην Περιφέρεια της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Εκκλησιαστικά στην Ιερά Μητρόπολη Γρεβενών. Συνορεύει βόρεια με την κοινότητα Δοτσικού, ανατολικά με τον δήμο Αγ. Κοσμά, νότια με την κοινότητα Φιλιππαίων και τον δήμο Θ. Ζιάκα και δυτικά με την κοινότητα Σαμαρίνας. Απέχει από τα Γρεβενά 28 km και η σύνδεση γίνεται με ασφαλτόδρομο, από την Αθήνα 441 km., από την Θεσσαλονίκη 215 km., από Λάρισα 178 km. και από τα Ιωάννινα 136 km.. Το χωριό περιστοιχίζεται σε μια κατάφυτη περιοχή, έκτασης 18.000 στρεμμάτων, από μαύρη πεύκη, ελάτη και βελανιδιές. Από τα υψώματα «Πέτρα» (1.326 m), «Τσούκα»(1.220 m) και «Κρανιά» (1.237 m) τα οποία βρίσκονται πέριξ του χωριού η θέα προς την Καστοριά, το Γράμμο, το Βίτσι, τον Κίσσαβο και τον Όλυμπο είναι μαγευτική. Μεταξύ των υψωμάτων «Πέτρα» και «Τσούκα» υπάρχει ένα μικρό ποτάμι το οποίο σχηματίζει τρεις συνεχόμενους καταρράκτες ύψους 3m, 2,5m, και 5m αντίστοιχα σε απόσταση 1km ΒΔ του χωριού. Σε απόσταση 2km Ν του οικισμού, σε μια διαδρομή που προσφέρεται για πεζοπορία μέσα στο δάσος, βρίσκονται 2 μικρές λίμνες επιφάνειας 150 m2 και 50 m2 και εκεί κοντά η τοποθεσία «Παλιόσπιτα» με ερείπια παλαιού οικισμού. Βόρεια του χωριού σε απόσταση 1ΚΜ βρίσκεται η εκκλησία του Προφήτη Ηλία και σε 2 km η τοποθεσία «Μαυρομάτι» με την ομώνυμη βρύση. Νότια σε απόσταση 1 km από το χωριό βρίσκεται η τοποθεσία «Μύλος» βρίσκονται τα ερείπια των παλιών νερόμυλων καθώς και τα θεμέλια μιας γέφυρας. Εντός του οικισμού άξια προσοχής είναι η βρύση στην κεντρική πλατεία η οποία χρονολογείται από τη δημιουργία του χωριού και η εκκλησία του Αγ. Δημητρίου, η οποία κτίστηκε στο 1777 και αποτελεί το στολίδι του χωριού.

Orphaned references in Mesolouri

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mesolouri's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
