I have read that the name could be MLK-Class

MLKX[edit]

Is "MLKX-Class" a typo or what? --SFoskett July 1, 2005 18:33 (UTC)

Obviously it's a typo.
Obviously it's not, because it got moved there. I think it should either be X or MLK but not MLKX, unless there's more reason than is mentioned. —MICLER (Talk) 22:22, August 6, 2005 (UTC)
Well if the guy wanted to move to MLK-Class, and forgot to remove the X, once the move is validated it is difficult to undo, so it could still be a typo, sort of ... Hektor 19:47, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. From Mercedes-Benz MLKX-Class to Mercedes-Benz MLK-Class. –Hajor 19:50, 11 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Shouldn't this article be called Mercedes-Benz X-Class because DaimlerChrysler said that hey're preparing to use "X-Class", and you people should always listen to the company that makes the automobile, rather than some newspaper or magazine or site saying that it should be called MLK-Class. Anyone agree? CrnaGora (Talk | Contribs | E-mail) 02:09, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Mercedes has registered the GLK name in July 2005, and the name GLK 63 in March 2006Hektor 21:17, 9 May 2006 (UTC).[reply]

this is a Spam! according to the last auto motor, the car still calld mercedes-benz MLK

  • Automotive News has announced that Mercedes-Benz has officially confirmed that the name will be GLK. Hektor 10:02, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2010?[edit]

"It is set for release in the United States at early 2010." I believe this line is incorrect. It is set for release in the U.S. in early 2009, not 2010. Besides, the info column says: Production 2008- . 67.171.172.44 (talk) 01:56, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ad Copy[edit]

The section of saftey reads like it was taken right off of a Mercedes Benz brochure. It needs a rewrite. Andacar (talk) 04:43, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
