carpark basement?[edit]

The grounds of the Royal Mint occupy almost half a city block. The entire expanse is level with the William St frontage and is occupied for the most part by a car park behind the central palazzo. As the surrounding ground level falls to the east, tall blank retaining walls front La Trobe and Little Lonsdale Sts. Does anyone know if there is a basement beyond these, below the elevated carpark above? melbourne_student 12:12, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
