Painting: Portrait of a Lady[edit]

Hi wikipedians, A painting was recently auctioned for $20,000 by Steven's Art Antique. It says by Mei Lan Fang (1894-1961). Can someone confirm if this Mei is also a Chinese painting artist? Thanks, SWP13 (talk) 23:05, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Probably very late to answer but yes Mei Lanfang was skilled in many traditional arts such as painting. I know it's mentioned in his son's biography of him and in Jenny Lau's article on Farewell my Concubine.
