Mehmet Osman, the Turkish immigrant who spoke King's English among Cockneys[edit]

Mehmet Osman (Haluk Bilginer) was one of the very few characters in Eastenders (and a as a foreigner!) who spoke King's English among the Cockney people of the Eastend.
