Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because this was done based on the alleged copyright infringement of one sentence, which was shown to have been identical to a page from the subject of the entry's website (www.mayashenfeld.com/about) but was also(!) used in an article about her in Fact Magazine, which was cited as required. The page was deleted less than 24 hours after it was first rejected, leaving me, its author, no time to make the (very minor) adjustments requested. All that was required was a single added reference and rephrasing of that one sentence -- certainly on reason to delete the entire entry, which was backed by reliable sources (The Guardian, Fact Magazine, German Tagesspiegel Zeitung, TAZ, and more). Deleting the entire entry without leaving time to perform any changes, let alone save the work done on it, was incredibly disrespectful -- if not downright violent -- behavior, and is far from what I expected from the Wikipedia community, which i understand as based on scientific and supportive dialog and engagement.
