Quebec[edit]

Someone had added to Ages of consent in North America this: "(Marriages are permitted for those above 16 outside Quebec, and above 16 for males and 14 for females in Quebec.)" I realized this is not mentioned in this article, and I couldn't find a source for it. Does anyone know if this is an exception? These two articles need to match up and need sourcing. Key headings of the Divorce Act[edit]

I converted the external links in this list to references, but I think they could probably just go away. Is this list helpful? Kjtobo (talk) 15:28, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Age restrictions for same sex marriages[edit]

The line "Age restrictions are the same for opposite-sex and same-sex marriages." may be incorrect, or at least need some clarification. I believe that in at least some provinces/territories same sex marriages are not allowed for underage persons, even with parental consent. Meters (talk) 18:37, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
