This article is clearly largely BS.[edit]

And I am totally 'bowled over'/'blown away' by his 'lead roles' and 'Academy Awards'.

Seriously, this was obviously written as a commercial. This page needs to be completely revamped and the author (who has a 'close relationship to the subject') should be penalized in some way (is that done?).

But the 'Six Degrees of Separation' (say she's me!) part is pretty darn close! (nb: I have no Academy Awards). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 40.132.190.150 (talk) 02:07, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. The article needs a complete rewrite from what sources that can be found that are not promotional in nature. --Hipal (talk) 23:43, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"Bowden is credited with pioneering nonverbal analysis of human behavior where it pertains to influence and/or persuasion."

I highly doubt so... When there are hundreds of academic psychologists who've done their PhDs on the study of nonverbal behaviour. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 19:24, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Bowden (author) → ? – I'm not sure of best article title, but the parenthetical "(author)" is ambiguous with the American author Mark Bowden. This article was previously titled Mark Bowden (body language expert), which was moved as being promotional (although the subject appears to be commonly referred to as such in reliable sources, e.g. [1], [2], [3]). More neutral title possibilities include Mark Bowden (body language analyst), or Mark Bowden (body language writer). Disambiguation based on nationality is another option: I'm not certain of the body language expert's nationality (apparently born in the UK but seems to be based in Canada), but if it can be confirmed, then perhaps Mark Bowden (British author) (although I'd prefer one of the former titles that clarifies the topic for which the subject is predominantly known). Let's discuss the best title. --Animalparty! (talk) 19:10, 15 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
