Lesbianism[edit]

As I understand it, the claim of her being a lesbian is just from rumors. Untitled[edit]

In the Background section the article notes that Margaret Lindsay born in 1910 is the oldest of five children, but at the beginning of the Family section it points out that Margaret has a sister Jane born in 1909. Is there a conflict here?

Assessment[edit]

This is actually a good article that would certainly deserve a B-class rating if it any inline references. In actuality, an article with no inline references would usually garner a Start-class status, but I did bump it up because of its thoroughness. I hope someone can provide proper citations. Private life[edit]

Two points: i. I recall reading somewhere that Margaret Lindsay was rumoured to be the mother, in the late 1930's, of a famous actress (still alive) by an equally famous father (no longer alive) - this isn't mentioned in the article and I can't find reference to it elsewhere. Without sources I dont want to put it in - but if anyone does have a source please point me in the direction of it. ii. Partially contrary to the above, Margaret Lindsay was pretty open about being bisexual if not lesbian - again, this isnt mentioned in the article. Anyone got a reliable source for that? Her date of birth is listed as 1910 and she is said to be the oldest of 6 siblings. However, her sister Jane is listed as being born in 1909. Did they make her younger in bios? 74.101.18.155 (talk) 03:38, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
