The 2009 concert reads like an advert[edit]

This doesn't read like an encyclopedia; there also seems to be a link in the middle of the section - I think that external sites should be listed at the end of the article. If there's no objections, I'll tone it down in a few days time. Apepper (talk) 15:55, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unattributed copy[edit]

https://www.vintagemusic.fm/artist/mantovani/ appears to be an unattributed copy of this article, some time around January 2012. WP:Mirrors and forks#Non-compliance process indicates that only people who hold part of the copyright on an article can take action about this, so I'm posting it here, in case anybody who does is moved to take action. --ColinFine (talk) 15:08, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bruno Mantovani[edit]

Shouldn't his son (and well-known composer/conductor) born 1974 - Bruno Mantovani also be mentioned as one of his children?

There is no known connection, but; Bruno is definitely *not* his son. 71.112.242.12 (talk) 14:21, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting removal of speculative, presumptive and likely, erroneous, conclusion[edit]

In the last paragraph of the section entitled, 'Music style and influences', the editor states that "Mantovani did not always get respect from his fellow musicians". In an attempt to prove this somewhat broad assertion, the editor merely cited a reference wherein Paul McCartney stated his preference that a proposed addition of strings to one of his compositions, as suggested by George Martin, should not sound "like Mantovani". One would be well advised not to read anything into such a harmless statement. In other words, simply because McCartney didn't wish his composition to be altered to include the styling characteristics of Mantovani does not in any way imply a lack of respect for him, musically or otherwise. The entire paragraph should either be expanded to definitively prove that McCartney actually lacked respect for Mantovani, or, it should be removed. 71.112.242.12 (talk) 14:06, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Posthumous Performances[edit]

The Mantovani Orchestra continued to perform after Mantovani's death, but I don't know under whose leadership or when it broke up.

The link to the official Mantovani website is dead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.215.49.69 (talk) 02:49, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
