Fair use rationale for Image:Thedormbuilding.jpg[edit]

Image:Thedormbuilding.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Semi-protected edit request on 4 June 2014[edit]

The line "The MSSM is a boarding school with a dormitory for up to 140 students" is no longer correct. We recently acquired a second dormitory housing up to 40 more students, increasing our capacity to 180 students. Additionally, our enrollment is listed as 103. As of the 2013-2014 school year, that was 130. Corinrose (talk) 03:09, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please change in the first paragraph: one dorm to two. Enrollment on the sidebar: 150. Kewlnamehuh (talk) 04:13, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: as you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request
I have looked, but from what I can see, the official website only mentions one dorm and gives no enrollment figures. - Arjayay (talk) 18:29, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Manor[edit]

The manor closed after the 2016-2017 after it began to flood repeatedly and was deemed uninhabitable. Leveyeathan (talk) 17:18, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please change the name of the Executive Director to David Pearson, it is no longer Luke Shorty. Please change US News Ranking to 2017 19th in the Nation Please change enrollment capacity to 145 Please remove the year 2013 from the caption of the photo; we would like to change the photo if we could. Please consider giving editing rights to at least one person at the school, we were constantly being attacked several years ago, and not sure who is currently updating our page, but it hasn't been updated in at least one year's time. Thank you for reading this. I am Alan Whittemore, Dean of Enrollment at the school (www.mssm.org/Admission) Mssmadmission (talk) 19:12, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to add a "See also" section similar to that shown on the page of similar schools, such as Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. The section could read as follows:

See also[edit]

They are already listed in the template "Public boarding schools in the United States" displayed below the page, which seems sufficient. – Thjarkur (talk) 11:39, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The executive director has changed twice since the current page shows. The new one is Sam Critchlow. For a cited reference https://thecounty.me/2021/09/07/news/education/mssm-opens-with-new-director-strict-covid-rules/ Theamazingrhino (talk) 15:59, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Limestone Manor as a dormitory[edit]

Mssm no longer uses the limestone manor as a dormitory. 24.39.61.178 (talk) 18:10, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

1998 hacking incident[edit]

I remember this on the news, but can't find a good reference. If anyone has it, might be worth mentioning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.51.112.102 (talk) 22:55, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sports Teams[edit]

MSSM no longer shares its sports teams. The school has its own independent boys and girls soccer teams, its own cross-country team, its own nordic ski team, and its own track and field team. If someone who knows how to fix this can, please do so. 24.39.61.178 (talk) 03:24, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
