This page has a lot of issues[edit]

This page seems to me to be entirely original research at the moment. It cites few sources, and none actually attributing this painting to Leonardo. The most recent source for this painting, which the article does not currently cite, is the Christie's catalog entry for the painting in its 29 January 2014 sale[1]. That sale describes this as a panting from a follower of Leonardo creating a copy of the master's work which has since been lost.

If this painting is based off a Leonardo composition, which the gallery section seems to support it was, this article needs to be completely rewritten to talk about that lost composition. The article should not act as an argument for why this painting is the original composition.

I did an overhaul[edit]

Since no one has really responded, I conducted an overhaul of the article to give it encyclopedic voice. The original article was largely copied and pasted from a report by Alexander Kossolapov of the Hermitage Museum. I do cite that article, but not only that article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CamEQ (talkcontribs) 07:27, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
