Ah, good; someone's started an article about Mad River. I took guitar lessons from Dave Robinson for a little while in the Fall of 1968 (Roger Calkins Music, down University Blvd near San Pablo Ave.) He showed me some basic stuff for about four months before he left, presumably to cut their second LP.
