Lytchett Minster School Fire 2012 There was a fire on the 27th of December 2012 from 6:02 in the morning, caused by a lightning strike. It hit the Creative Arts Block and destroyed the school theatre, the dance studio, three art rooms, a photography studio, drama and music rooms and specialised instrument practice rooms. This caused the school to be closed an extra two days and is being temporarily replaced in the upcoming months by a temporary block which was once part of the 2012 Olympic village. There is nothing on the Lytchett Minster School page about this fire, and I would like it to be there, considering it is now an essential part of the school's history.

Hi I am very new at this but this page is somewhat out of date.

A good start would be referencing the schools updated website http://www.lytchett.org.uk/school/

There are now 5 houses and the headmaster is changing this year.

Lytchett Minster School has 1450 students and 100 teachers. (NOT 1400 students and 50 teachers).

It has six (NOT five) houses. Agglestone House was added three years ago

Please amend reference to the Creative Arts Block: The rebuilding of the Arts Block (formerly known as the Creative Arts Block) was completed in May 2015.
