Team ChannelFireball[edit]

I have put information about Team ChannelFireball on Luis' page. Although I'm not sure this is the perfect place to put it, the team is very important to the current state of professional Magic and I think deserves to be chronicled. The information does seem to warrant it's own page or at the very least I think it would have to be a subsection of a page about the website as a whole. I'm open to other ideas about where this information to go but for now Luis' page seems most appropriate as the unofficial leader of Team ChannelFireball. It's been there for a while now, and I think it's fine. We could certainly put it on its own page, but I am not sure it improves the situation to have yet another stub. I thought this over, and I wonder whether StarCityGames and ChannelFireball are themselves notable. In the case of SCG I am pretty sure the answer is yes. For CF the answer is a bit more difficult. I think the shop might not be notable per se, but if you add in the team and article program, notability can be established as both receive coverage in third party sources. For example team ChannelFireball is mentioned all the time in the Wizards PT coverage, and Wizards is a third party source in this context if I am not mistaken. If we agree that CF is notable, then it goes without saying, that the part about team CF is best placed there. OdinFK (talk) 10:42, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Limited Resources[edit]

I see that this has been added to the article, but I really don't see it as being significant enough to warrant an own section with reactions etc. I don't know if it's really worth mentioning anywhere in the article, to be honest. Hahahopp (talk) 13:56, 4 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It seems rather relevant to the Magic: The Gathering section that Luis is now the co-host of the most popular Magic podcast. I'll add a little more information about the podcast to justify this section. tmurdock (talk) 16:15, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It could be worth mentioning somewhere, but I do not think a separate section for Limited Resources is warranted; I don't think the podcast is significant enough for that. If you were to make a section for general work in the Magic community, such as articles, videos, commentary, it would make sense to include this there. But this is just one man's opinion. I think if he were a radio personality or host it would be worth its own section, but as it is right now it should be an extra sentence in the opening introduction. However, if someone wanted to expand on Luis' contributions to media in magic, tenure as editor-in-chief, various writing positions, tenure on CFB's magictv, the LR cast co-host position can fit in there as well. Team CFB members[edit]

Do we really want to continue this section? As CFB continues to go on and work with different people this becomes more and more of a who is who in Magic pro play. Maybe we should point out the core of the team (Luis, Josh, David, Efro, Paul) and say that the team has come to work with a bunch of other high-caliber players over the years.
