WP:VG content assessment[edit]

This is a personal template to provide advice in the course of completing a content assessment or reassessment for the WikiProject for video games. It's not a part of the project itself. For formal guidance when creating and editing articles under this project, please consult the project’s content assessment guide and manual of style. The template can be found here.

Category Flag Comments
Overall The article generally meets the form of the manual of style but has minor issues, such as gaps in its content or missing elements, or requires greater editing to assist in clarity, balance and flow.
Layout checkY The article has a layout with sections that conforms to all the foundational sections of the manual of style.
Lead section checkY The article's lead section conforms with the manual of style.
Infobox checkY The article contains an appropriate infobox.
Gameplay exclamation mark  The article contains a description of gameplay, but is either insufficient to cover a clear description of the game or has excessive or trivial details.
Screenshot and cover art The article does not contain both a screenshot and cover art for the game.
Plot exclamation mark  The article contains a plot section that may have issues, such as being incomplete or having excessive length, or an inappropriate tone.
Development exclamation mark  The article contains a development section that be incomplete, have trivial details, or focused on minor milestones such as announcements or trailers.
Reception exclamation mark  The article's reception section has issues, such as insufficient content, clutter in the section, overuse of direct quotations, undue weight or trivia.
Sources checkY The article's content is consistently sourced by several independent reliable secondary sources that are cited correctly.
