Huh?[edit]

"In 2017 Gibson's identification of Jesse James sitting next to Robert Ford was confirmed when owner/Jesse James descendant Sandra Mills' tintype of those infamous outlaws sold at Burley's Auction House for $35,000." How does the fact that someone paid a particular price for a photograph "confirm" that the photograph is of the people that someone--even an expert--says it is? On reading the sources, the "confirmations" turn out to be Gibson's opinions in support of client's claims. I've copyedited accordingly. - LuckyLouie (talk) 03:34, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
