Accommodation and activities[edit]

There are several hotels in the area - I think that it may be of use to include http://www.thedrummondhotel.co.uk/ and http://www.thefourseasonshotel.co.uk/ in order to make this page a more useful resource. Is there any problem with me putting together a new section on Accommodation and perhaps another one on Activities? Jonathan Ellis 12:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the two topics could be covered in a single section. I'd just gently remind you that the text should not read like an ad and should be written with a neutral point of view. 23:14, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page[edit]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

"Loch of Ireland"[edit]

Is it not more likely these placenames in Pictish heartlands: Strathearn, Atholl etc. are actually named after the gods/mythological characters in Goidelic mythology? So 'Ériu' for 'Strathearn' and 'Fódla' for 'Atholl'? These came over time to be euphemisms/associated strictly with Ireland itself but at the time I imagine Goidelic mythology was probably far less tied to Ireland specifically.

Just doesn't really make much sense for the Picts to name so many large swathes of their territory after Ireland. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.4.16.225 (talk) 19:56, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
